Looking for financial help with your upcoming adoption plan? ADOPTIONGRANT
is an essay contest created to award one family per year money towards their
upcoming adoption. One winner will be picked yearly by a review committee on
November 1st, in honor of National Adoption Month.

WHO SHOULD APPLY? |
|
Families adopting domestically, demonstrating financial need, perseverance and imminence of adoption. The number of children currently in your house does not affect selection. Marital status, gender, sexual orientation, race, creed, national origin, and religion are not considered when reviewing your application. You may apply after your homestudy is completed.

QUALIFICATIONS: |
- You must have an approved and current homestudy from a
licensed and accredited adoption agency or social worker.
- You must be adopting from the United States.
- You must be an American Citizen.

|
DO NOT APPLY IF: |
- Your adoption is finalized, or
- You are just starting the process, or
- You are adopting from outside the United States.

| APPLICATION REVIEW PROCESS:
|
Two person review committee will review all essays and applications received by October 1st.
Website and will announce winner on November 2nd after winner has been notified personally on November 1st by phone and/or email.
If the essay and required documents are not received by October 1st, they will be entered in the next year’s contest. |
